The Factory
Creative Atelier • Wood • Design
Femo Factory is a Creative Atelier based in the little village of Santo Isidoro, on the Portugal Atlantic coast, near Ericeira.
Being based near the ocean was Andrea and Giulia’s dream for a long time. The space was designed to connect different areas: a wood workshop, a screenprinting studio, and a front part to host pop-ups or visualize your next custom project.
It’s open by appointment; check our Instagram for updates on open days and events.

The idea of creating a brand first came up during an epic journey through Australia, and Femo Factory was first established in Italy back in 2013, in the workshop belonging to Andrea’s family for many years.

Why the name Femo?
On a southern island dominated by a volcano lived Polyphemus/Polifemo, one of the most well-known figures of Greek mythology. He was neither a hero nor a god, but a one-eyed wild creature, the son of Poseidon (god of the ocean) and Thoosa, (nymph of the sea). The name Femo and the factory logo capture the spirit of this strong and untamed giant.
